Thursday, May 15th, 2008California’s Supreme Court declared that gay couples in the nation’s biggest state can marry — a monumental but perhaps short-lived victory for the gay rights movement as religious and social conservatives are pressing to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November. However, Schwarzenegger, a “Conservative” Republican, said “will not support an amendment to the constitution that would overturn this state Supreme Court ruling.”

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008And in deed it does seem a little ironic that John Edwards should choose this particular moment to endorse Obama. Almost as if, he had been waiting in the wings of the Democratic party, so that he could Knee-Cap Hillary Clinton as she was coming off stage from a Brilliant performance. I mean, the parallel is uncanny.
Still, I wonder if this means an Obama / Edwards ticket?

TrashDispatch- Polygamist Wives, Awakened?
Saturday, April 19th, 2008When we first saw them, they were solitary, reserved, and some would say, “almost catatonic” having been Brain-Washed by their Male-Captors.
But in this photo (taken by the Associated Press), the looks on the faces of these polygamist women are not those of abused, sheltered, or brain-washed women; but of Determined Mothers.
I’ve seen that look before.
And I’ve got a feeling, the War has yet to begin.

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008the 3/5ths issue had to do with the northern states not wanting the southern states to have a majority of the representation. The southern states wanted to count all the population, both slave and non slave, as one each. The northern states however, wanted to maintain control of the House of Representatives so they insisted that since the slaves were not being treated as equal in the south, then the southern states could not count them as whole.
It had nothing to do with the condition or value of a slave and everything to do with control of the government.
